HNZ currently has 2 Sikorsky S-92’s stationed in Halifax. Maintenance staff are highly trained and experienced on the airframe and the challenges of the Canada – East Coast weather.
HNZ through its affiliations with Canadian Helicopters Limited, conducts a highly skilled and highly trained group of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers who reside in the region.
In addition to supporting our own fleet, Canadian Helicopters provides extensive third party maintenance services to a variety of external clients. We are a Transport Canada Approved Maintenance Organization and offer comprehensive helicopter support services including heavy maintenance, field maintenance, and repair & overhaul for structures, avionics, and components.
We service civil and military aircraft within Canada. Our clients range from single aircraft private operators to large multi-aircraft organizations including Bell Helicopters and the Canadian Forces.

Canadian Helicopters has extensive experience in completing the full range of maintenance activities required to maintain a large and diverse fleet of aircraft. We service a broad range of OEM equipment including Agusta Westland, Bell, Airbus Helicopters, Robinson, and Sikorsky aircraft.
Our maintenance capabilities include both immediate and depot level activities:
- Field maintenance (component change, scheduled and unscheduled inspections);
- Heavy maintenance;
- Avionics and structures (sheet metal and composite); and,
- Remote, off-site and embedded maintenance support (Long Term)
In addition, Canadian Helicopters’ maintenance capacity includes component repair and overhaul for Bell and Airbus Helicopters product lines.
Canadian Helicopters provides a broad scope of ancillary services including parts and material sales, Night Vision Goggle (NVG) service and recertification, and aircraft refinishing and paint. Specific and customized service solutions are also available.
